I think one of the greatest honors and privileges I have as a therapist is walking alongside my patients throughout their journeys – through some of their darkest and most challenging moments. If you are struggling, you do not have to struggle alone. I am here for you! Therapy is a collaborative process, so together we can explore whatever it may be that is causing you distress.
I am a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor #5052. I specialize in working with adult patients, ages 18-65 with the following issues: Complex Trauma, Developmental Trauma (Attachment Styles), Women’s Issues, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Grief, Life Transitions, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, Self Esteem, and Sustainable Somatic Wellness.
My focus is on the whole person: mind, body, and spirit. Often our body pain is directly connected to stress, past trauma, and anxiety. We will work together creating a treatment plan focused on healing, self-compassion, and moving through the restraints of fear.
I use a variety of evidenced based therapy models including but not limited to:
Emotional Focused Therapy
Mindful Self Compassion
Person Centered Therapy
Solution Focused
Developmental/Life Span
Attachment Based Therapy
Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
Narrative and Bibliotherapy
I believe that therapeutic change occurs in the context of non-judgmental, accepting, and collaborative relationships. I am honored to walk with you through this healing journey.
